What we collect on DrPrison.com
DrPrison.com is a reading site with a newsletter signup. The only personal information we ever collect from you is an email address, and only if you choose to subscribe to Inside Out. We don't run third-party analytics or trackers on this site.
What we do with your email
We use it to send you the weekly Inside Out newsletter and, occasionally, a directly-related operational message (e.g., "we changed our send schedule"). We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber emails with third parties. We do not build advertising profiles.
Server access logs
Our web host logs standard HTTP requests — IP address, user-agent, path, timestamp — for security and troubleshooting. These logs are retained for 30 days and auto-deleted. We don't join them to subscriber records.
Unsubscribing
Every newsletter issue has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email help@drprison.org and we'll remove you within one business day. Unsubscribing deletes your row from our subscriber database; we don't keep an unsubscribe suppression list beyond that.
Legal process
If we receive a subpoena or court order for subscriber information, we comply to the extent required and — where not legally prohibited — notify the affected subscriber in advance.
