Confidentiality Notice

DrPrison.com is a public reading site

Everything you read on this site is public. We do not have a private intake channel on DrPrison.com, and you should not share sensitive case details in public channels like social media comments or story pitches without redaction.

For sensitive matters, use the services side

If you need to share documents, names, or case specifics — for example to get a PSR reviewed or an FSA calculation done — open an account on DrPrison.org. That site has a contractual confidentiality framework, audit logs, and encrypted storage.

This is not attorney-client privilege

Even on the services side, Dr. Prison is not a law firm. Communications with us are not protected by attorney-client privilege. If you need privilege, retain an attorney directly; we can refer you.

Newsletter content is not confidential

Inside Out covers public information — published BOP policy, court filings, news reports, our own reporting. Nothing in the newsletter is a confidential disclosure about a particular case.
